Using the Test Message Board

Conduct

  • Please consider that what you post on these boards is public information and is viewable by the entire planet. This includes the media, who use boards like this to spawn their articles, and by people in which you base your posts. It would be in everyone's best interest, that you follow two simple rules while posting:
    • Don't post anything that you do not want to see next to your name in the newspaper.
    • Don't post anything that you aren't willing to say straight to the party in question's face.
  • The BSC staff appreciates your cooperation.

Using the Test Message Forum

Registering/Login

  • This board require you to register and login to post information.
  • You only need to register to this board once.
  • You only need to provide a username and password to register.

Navigation

  • The BSC II graphic takes you back to the BSC II Website
  • Pac 10 and Other sites are links to other related sports websites
  • The black menu bar contains the header of the current message forum and links to other BSC forums (these boards are not created yet).
  • The Orange menu bar has all the system links for viewing, posting, and registeration. The image above describes each one.

Posting

  • Once you login, your username will appear on every post you add.
  • You are not required to enter an email address, an entry blank is provided for convience
  • The link address and link name work the same as the old Rivals site.
  • After you submit your email, you will be given notification that it was posted. Click on the "current page" link on the bottom right of the notification page to return to the topic page. You need to reload or refresh the topic screen to see your new post.
  • You can edit your post by clicking on your name next to the message subject on the topic page or by clicking on the edit link when viewing the message.

Viewing hints

  • You can view all the posts in a thread at once by clicking on the 1st post in the thread and then clicking on the "view all" link.
  • Use the pulldown menu on the orange menu bar to help filter the messages you want to view.
